The Jason Morris Judo Center (JMJC) won top team honors at the New York State Championships dominating the field as it's athletes hauled in 25 total medals including 12 Gold.
The JMJC hosted this year's states at the O'Rourke Middle School in Burnt Hills Saturday, November 11, 2006.
The event had over 100 of New York's best senior competitors in attendance.
Many of the JMJC athletes won two medals as they fought well in more than one division.
The JMJC Gold medal winners were: Nick Delpopolo, Helen Delpopolo, Kathy de Valk, Jeremy Galib, Marina Shafir (2),
AJ Silverman, Travis Stevens (2), Kyle Vashkulat, Christie Woosley and Josh Woosley.
Silver medals went to: Ronni Aragona (2), Jess Elizalde, Bill Shanahan, Janelle Snider and Josh Woosley.
Bronze medals went to: Paul Borodin, Nick Delpopolo, Kathy de Valk, Mark Hatton, Sam LaGasse, AJ Silverman
and Kyle Vashkulat.
