Montreal, QC - Glenville, NY's Jason Morris Judo Center (JMJC) placed
second as a team out of over 30 teams competing at this past weekend's

the way for the JMJC posting a 4-0 record to claim her first Quebec Open
title at 57kg. Martin defeated teammate Kim Carpenter (25) in the final.

her way to a 4-1 mark to record her first medal at this event.
Paul Borodin
(28) turned the best performance of his career making it all the way to the
66kg final to take a silver with a 4-1 record. Borodin's only loss was to
JP Gagnon who is one of Canada's top players.

her usual 48kg to place second at 52kg losing only in the final in a tight,
overtime nail-biter to Karin Hermanssson (Sweden).
