Athletes from the Glenville-based Jason Morris Judo Center won 14 total medals at Sunday’s Garden State Judo Classic Championships.

Melissa Myers won gold in the 70kg women’s elite division.

In the men’s 60kg category, Julien Crisostomo took gold, Zach Judy won silver and kyle Tran came in third place. Tran also won gold at the Cadet 60kg level. Ari Berliner won a silver in the men’s 66kg division, while his brother Fell picked up a bronze in the 90kg men’s elite weight class. Will van den Brock won a bronze in the 90kg division.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School junior Thomas Pawlinga won bronze in the Cadet 66kg category. Burnt Hills sixth-grader Dani Morris was a double medalist, winning a gold in the 11-12-years-old heavyweights and a bronze medal in the 13-14-years-old heavyweight category. Randi Morris picked up a silver in the 11-12-years-old middle weight division.

Burnt Hills graduate Victoria Ferrante took a silver in the women’s brown belt 57kg category and picked up a bronze in the 57kg women’s elite.
