Oberwart, Austria – Burnt Hills High School Graduate & long time Jason Morris Judo Center competitor, Hannah Martin fought well today, February 16, 2019 and took 7th place at the Austrian Open in 63kg. Martin went 2-2 and just barley missed the medal rounds losing a tight battle to Pan Am rival, Estefania Garcia from Ecuador. Martin will next join JMJC’s Alex Turner, Kell Berliner & Nicole Stout in Dusseldorf Feb. 23-24 for the German Grand Slam. The JMJC will be hosting it’s 28th in house tournament (JMJC Open), Sunday, Feb. 24 that all are are welcome to attend.
